Cybil Weigel is an executive producer who originally is from the east coast. She coined the term “embedded” in her graduate studies after realizing the multitude of clients she collaborated with all across the world. After graduating with a master’s degree in media design from Art Center College of Design she has worked with: Deutsch, Current TV, Saatchi, Butler Shine Stern & Partners, various record labels and recording artists in all genres. She currently teaches at Art Center College of Design, Otis College of Art & Design and Pasadena City College. In the past she has taught at Pepperdine University, The Art Institute(s), and production workshops at California College of the Arts. She has just applied for a PhD program so she can share her experiences in an online format for her peers and students.
Matt Mckissick is a new media producer/stragegist in Film, TV and Web. After graduating from Art Center College of Design in the Media Design program he swiftly jumped into the entertainment atmosphere and worked with: Troika Design Group, Push Offices, Back to Back Films, Aysen Entertainment, The Disney Store, Super Collider Productions, Creable Studio and Michael Naimark Media Arts. He's been involved with a variety of entertainment projects for clients such as: Weinstein Company, Playboy.com, Godiva Chocolate, ING, Sun Microsystems, The Next Action Hero Reality TV Show and Disney. Matt is also adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University and commits some time project coordinating for the Mid-Night Mission and Zumunta Organization (non-profits).
Aaron Novak is a director, designer, and media S=supervisor for Embeddedin.la. After graduating from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a degree in Photography and Video, he is currently working as Production Manager and Lead Designer at Stickam.com, the first and largest live streaming social network. Working with Cybil on various Embeddedin.la projects since 2004, Aaron has also taught and assisted at Maryland Institute College of Art, Otis College of Design, and the California College of the Arts.
Yvonne is an image creative and cinematographer. A graduate of Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA with a Bachelor's in photography and a Master's in film. In addition, she has over 14 years of Honorable Service combined with the United States Army and California Army National Guard where she has served as a Public Affairs Officer for the entertainment community and is currently a broadcast journalist for the California Guard. Her contributing projects include; United Nations, People Assisting the Homeless, The Western Justice Center Foundation, American Cancer Society and Diabetes Health, as well as KWKT, FOX 44 News and KPAS, Channel 56 Public Access.
